I know, I know. It’s not Sunday anymore, and I missed last weekend’s post. I’ve been having some serious technical difficulties and for that reason this Someone I Love Sunday is going to be a two-for-one. I can already tell I’m going to cry as I write it. 

Someone I love; the parents of that little bundle of joy up there, the incredible Matt and Beck.

We met through a local weekly poker game and grew closer due to a mutual love of the game and Curt. Over the past couple of years I have been privileged to spend so many special events with this lovely couple including birthdays, baby showers, meeting the precious little bundle pictured above, there have also been the many times just spending time watching a movie or some t.v together which I cherish just as much. Later this year I will be there watching them exchange their wedding vows and I couldn’t be happier for them both.

These two folks are sweet as honey, hilarious, and just THE most amazing parents. I really admire how loving they have been, both towards me, towards each other and towards their lucky little boy Jacob. He will be so proud to have you as his parents guys!

Saturday night we went to dinner at Beni Hana to say goodbye. I will be moving to the other end of the country soon and it was so sad. I know that I will see them again in October (at the latest) but I can’t help but be sad that I will be that much further from the glow of this loving family.
